May 18, 2024 – we were part of The Long Night of Museums in Warsaw. During the hours 18:00-21:30 it was possible to explore the Saunatic exhibition together with its creators (in the courtyard of Creativity Center Targowa 56). Big thanks to the many visitors 🙂 . Partner of the event was Danish-Polish Flügger that donated oils and brushes for the seasonal wood conservation.

A screening of the award-winning Finnish documentary film “Steam of Life” by Joonas Berghäll, including samples of Finnish snacks and hot drinks and visiting exhibition with the authors. Free admission. Partner of the event Spondeo.

September 11, 2021, 17.00-17.30 – During a mini Sauna fashion show in the courtyard of The Creativity Center Targowa 56 we presented, among others, a kimono and bathing shoes designed and handmade for us by Ewelina Czaplicka-Ruducha in the artisinal workshop of the Praga Museum of Warsaw. BarBazaar provided sound and music, and Julita Delbar Galeria Klitka – photos. Thank you NadWyraz.com for embroidery, Aga Kobylińska Design for handmade print on the kimono, Deveka company for linen material, and Troxers for sauna shorts.

August 2021 – Visiting the exhibition with the authors
July 2021 – Our “wooden mural” is ready! The Warsaw-based artist Magdalena Hajnosz decorated one of the wooden walls of the Saunatic exhibition. The event was supported by the Danish-Polish company Flügger that donated paint, oil and brushes. Watch the short video below:

27.09.2019, 19:00-20:00 – “DIY sauna in Finland, or something between feast and everyday” a visual informal presentation about Do It Yourself saunas in Finland, held by Wojtek Mejor, a Warsaw-based independent educator, ecologist, eternal student, and designer dealing with degrowth, food cooperatives, Community Supported Agriculture, and more. He spent 10 years in Helsinki where he studied, worked and regularly visited all kinds of saunas. The event was organised in cooperation with Otwarta Pracownia Jazdów.

25.07.2019, 18:30-22:00 and 26.07.2019, 11:00-12:30 – Sauna Health Benefits – talk and show Sauna expert Lennart Gürke from German organisation Bädercoach gave an introduction to the health aspects of sauna and Aufguss ceremonies and presented some of his techniques. The partner of the event was German Embassy in Poland and Bädercoach.
